The Reindeer people’s unique lifestyle is still attracting the attention of journalists, photographers, film makers and tourists as well. They live in wild virgin taiga of Khuvsgul, where it is minus 40 celcius degree in winter, herd reindeer for four seasons. They are shamans who have inherited shamanism from generation to generation. This is a totally different world, totally different customs than you can imagne and gives you strange feeling.

Ulaanbaatar is the capital city of Mongolia. The 1 of 3 of the population lives in Ulaanbaatar and it’s a modern metropolis. This day we will have city tour including Gandan Monastery and the National Museum. Rest of the day you have some time to prepare for the big trip.
Erdenet is the third-biggest city and one of the youngest settlements in Mongolia, was founded in 1974 in an area where large deposits of copper had been discovered in the 1950s. Since then, people moved and settled the city. The city hosts the fourth largest copper mine in the world.
After breakfast at local hotel and continue to our travel to the north. Murun is the capital city of Khuvsgul Province. Khuvsgul Province is popular by its beautiful nature and forms the bulk of the forest resources of Mongolia.
Early in the morning we move to Tsagaannuur sum, where the reindeer people live and lived for centuries. On the way we pass through “13 Ovoo Mountain” known as its real untouched wildlife.
Today is reindeer riding day. After breakfast with the local family, we leave our vehicle to the Taiga. 5-6 hours of riding reindeer we arrive at a camp.
This morning we feed the reindeers and move to Khultus river. This area is remote place and here you can see moose, squirrel and other wild animals. The rest of the day is your leisure time for photographing. Taiga, the boreal forest is a biome characterized by coniferous forests consisting mostly of pines, spruces and larches.
This morning we pack our luggage and ride back to Tsaatan’s camp, along the Kultus River. After long trip, the next day is free day in Reindeer herder’s camp. You have a great opportunity to communicate with local herders. The origin of Tsaatan is Tuva, and they speak Tureg and Mongolian. Overnight in a tent or teppe.
This morning we drive to south to Khuvsgul Lake, which is named Blue Pearl of Mongolia. The view is wonderful and here is a great chance to breeze of one of the world’s freshest pure water lake.
We take a rest at Baatarvan camp and relax after long trip.
This morning we drive to the capital city of Mongolia. Lunch on the way. After we arrive in Ulaanbaatar, transfer to hotel accommodation in Ulaanbaatar. And take modern facilities after long time of travelling in remote place.
